We are pleased to tell you that we also offer orthodontic services in our office. Dr. Sondra Gunn is extremely qualified for this position, having many years of experience as an orthodontist. She graduated from the University of Michigan School of Dentistry in 1978 and received her master's degree in Orthodontics from the University of Michigan School of Dentistry in 1980.

We offer Invisilign and general orthodontics for all ages. Dr. Gunn looks forward to serving all the orthodontic needs of our patients. She is available to provide treatment from 8:00 AM until 5:00 PM on two Mondays per month.

  • Nitrous Oxide offered for all treatments to aid in your complete comfort.
  • Digital Oral Camera - see your teeth on the TV monitor magnified 28 times.
  • DIAGNOdent Laser technology to determine decay without the "pick", it is more accurate and can assess cavities sooner.
  • Waterlase Laser which can replace the drill in many instances. Since there is no heat or vibration, the waterlase reduces the need for shots and being "numbed".
  • State of the art sterilization techniques and equipment.
 

Initial Oral Examination
Your initial oral examination includes a visual examination, charting, periodontal probing, diagnosis and treatment recommendations. We will also take x-rays, which includes the panoramic x-ray for proper diagnosis of the anterior (front) and posterior (back) teeth as well as the bite-wing x-ray series for proper diagnosis of proximal decay of posterior teeth.

Implants
Implants are synthetic structures that are placed in the area of the tooth normally occupied by the root.
